Last weekend, jam-band titans of the scene Goose<\/a> took the stage at the eighth-annual Goosemas<\/strong>. The annual end-of-year holiday-themed show thrown in their home state of Connecticut went off without a hitch on Saturday, Feb 26 at The Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT (Only an hour and twenty minutes East of the band’s hometown of Norwalk). After the postponement of the 2020 Goosemas show, and an additional rescheduling in December 2021 due to budding omicron concerns – Goose fans were ready & waiting for the chance to finally celebrate their holiday 2-months late, and the band’s first ever (sold-out<\/strong>) arena show.<\/p>

Goose fans of the tri-state area descended upon the casino as a flock. Those in the know knew the first stop was at the Hometown Flodown presented by PhanArt<\/a>. CashorTrade never misses a party if we can help it, so it was a no-brainer that you’d find us set up among pillars of the live music community including NYSMusic<\/a>, JEMP Radio<\/a>, <\/strong>and Groovesafe.<\/a><\/strong><\/p>

Thanks to some incredibly kind heads, we were even able to set up a few ISO’s with miracle tickets<\/em> to the show! An afternoon spent at PhanArt with is all you need to put anyone in the mood to groove. The crowds, merch & tables came down, and we made our way towards the venue.<\/p>

“The lights dropped around 8:15 and thousands of people simultaneously yelled GOOOOOOOSE! . The band walked on stage and started into holiday classic Linus and Lucy, Peter s special grand piano shining from the get-go. Ripping a hot Yeti next, the energy in the venue seemed to grow with each note as I basked in finally hearing one of my favourite bands live for the first time.” – Ryan Storm, NYS Music<\/a><\/strong><\/em><\/p>

The night was filled with crisp jams, non-stop dancing, an incredible new lighting design rig, and even an on-stage engagement proposal from Goose drummer Ben. (Aw!)<\/p>

Fans were also treated to a 3-song set consisting of 2022 debut tracks off of the band’s recently released EP Dripfield<\/a>.<\/p>
