How To Set Up Your Free CashorTrade Streams Account & Start Streaming!

CashorTrade Streams is easy to use, and is an excellent way to get your content out to the thousands of users that frequent Cashortrade. Any performer, festival, venue or live stream fundraiser can host a channel on CashorTrade Streams and collect donations while receiving 100% of the donation- how cool is that? If you re interested in making a channel and streaming videos of your own, we compiled this guide just for you!

To get started, go to your CashorTrade profile, and click on your avatar to activate the pull-down bar as you would accessing your profile. Below the my tickets tab, you ll see the my streams option.

This will take you to the create a stream channel page, where you add customizable info about your band, festival, or venue. You have the option to add logos, your own banner, and links to your social media pages. You also have an option to invite users to your stream which are present in the videos- here they can get notifications, and their channel can be promoted. You can access this option by clicking the options tab present in your my channels page.

Once you click the create channel button, you ll see a view of the page that CashorTrade user s will see when they visit your page. Now it s time to upload content!

On the right side of your banner, you ll see an add streams button, where we have a few tools that help you upload your videos. If you have a YouTube page, we also offer an import from YouTube tool.

Here, you ll have the option to enable the donation plug-in into your video, adjust the title, description, and date of the video. If your video is a livestream, input the option the day of the stream, and when the stream is going to start and your timezone. If your video is not fully a livestream, but rather a premiere of the video release, select the premiere option.

You can source your videos, whether live streamed or archived, from the most used social media sources such as YouTube, Facebook, Twitch, and Vimeo. When doing so, it s important to make sure to use the embed code provided from these sites to properly display your livestream or video to CashorTrade.

It s important to note that you need to make sure that when you are live streaming a video, to enable your share settings or audience as public so that the video can be displayed on CashorTrade.

To find the embed code with Facebook:

1.) Open Facebook

2.) Go to the video you want to emebed.

3.) Click the elipse action in the top right-hand corner of the video and select 'Embed'. Keep in mind that you will only see this option if the video's audience is set to "Public"

4.) Copy the video URL & past it into your CashorTrade Streams post.

If you embed a video and the audience of the video changes from Public, a message saying the embedded video is no longer available will appear on the website.

There is an option to keep the full post from Facebook, or to only include the video by clicking a checkbox titled: include full post.

Then click the button under the video that appears titled: Get Code, and copy-and-paste to your desired location.

Note: Facebook requires the embed checkbox or option to be clicked when posting the video in order for it to be embeddable. Also, the video will need to be public.

To grab the embed code for Youtube:

1.) Copy the full URL of the video displayed in your browser bar. Be sure to include the complete video ID (characters that follows /watch?v=).

To grab the embed code for Vimeo:

1.) Go to the desired video, and click the share icon in the top-right corner of the video.


2.) Go to the Embed box, and click the link to copy, and paste to the desired location.

Note: Underneath the embed box is customizable video settings such as size, text options, and whether you want to include a video description. In addition Vimeo requires the embed checkbox or option to be clicked when posting the video in order for it to be embeddable. Also the video will need to be public.

To grab the embed code for Twitch:

1.) On Twitch, go to a video and click the share button on the bottom right-hand corner of the video.


2.) Next click the URL presented under using an iframe.


  1. Copy and paste URL to desired location in CashorTrade.

Note: Twitch requires the embed checkbox or option to be clicked when posting the video in order for it to be embeddable. Also the video will need to be public.




We also have a great way to incorporate your archived videos from YouTube with a simple import tool.

To use the import YouTube tool, you input your Channel ID, and it will bring up a list of your YouTube videos, where you click your desired videos and the option to enable donations on the video. We also have an option to Setup Auto Import, which will integrate videos released on your YouTube page automatically to your CashorTrade streams page!

We also have a tool where you can upload multiple videos from different sources all at once so you can stay organized in your process, all you need is a valid link/embed code and you ll be good to go.

In the toolbar for adding streams, we also have an order streams option, which by clicking will bring you to a list of your videos where you can order them by how they re seen by the vast audience of CashorTrade users however you desire. There is a secondary order tab where you can display your videos by title, publish date, submitted date, or start date.

Need help finding your Channel ID?

  • Sign in to YouTube.
  • In the top right, click your profile picture Settings .
  • From the left Menu, select Advanced settings.
  • You ll see your channel s user and channel IDs.
