~ I had no intention of reviewing someone who I did not actually engage in a transaction with, but since he felt it appropriate to bash me and review me with the lowest possible feedback, I thought I would at least share my thoughts on the interaction.
Timeline of Events
JRAD Show at HOB Boston starts at 8pm
As I am en route to the show, I am on my phone looking for a ticket at 9pm, which is when I responded to his post (which was posted at 8:30PM). His post said 3 tickets available, I only needed 1 but decided to see if he would break the set apart.
9pm - I reach out
9:10pm I asked him for the total price for a ticket, to which he responded $120 for all three (9:12pm) and then committed (9:13pm). Before I could continue this conversation my phone died and I was unable to communicate any further.
...I sign on to my computer the next day to apologize and I see that he not only left me a nasty message, but was totally rude in a review about me that is a reflection of me. For what it is worth, at 9:13pm he committed to the post.
I had every intention of purchasing 1 ticket and I highly value the COT community. A commitment does mean something - and it was beyond my control that my phone/internet tweaked - but that doesn't mean that it is all right to call someone names and be mean to them because the transaction didn't work out. Among being told I am "someone to stay away from" and that it is "my fault he had to eat the money for the tickets" he was generally nasty.
...From this side of things, it is not my fault that you waited until 35 minutes after the show STARTED to post tickets (from TX, which you clearly were not attending the JRAD show in the first place) and then decide it is okay to blame me for you having to absorb the cost of the tickets. That is your poor planning sir.
For what it is worth, he was really responsive so that is probably a but honestly, it is not all right to be completely rude to someone because things didn't turn out perfectly - shi*t happens sometimes and it was not fun for me either trying to find a ticket and make it in the door without a phone. Either way, from his other reviews he is probably fine to do business with, but from my experience, no one likes a bully12/22/16
