Goose returns to San Jose del Cabo for another edition of Viva el Gonzo after a massively successful first year. CashorTrade is the only place where Goose fans can safely buy and sell travel packages for the festival and we’re stoked for another year of fun in the sun.
It’s no surprise that Goose decided to bring the festival back after fans raved about the first year. The Viva el Gonzo 2026 edition takes place from May 7-9 and the lineup is stacked.

Last year the music went from 3pm until the wee hours of the morning every night with plenty of sit-ins, and we expect the same for 2026. Who else is excited for Jim James and Cory Wong to rip it up with Goose?!
Unlike other destination events in Mexico, fans are able to choose their own adventure for Viva el Gonzo. If you want to stay at an all-inclusive resort, you can go for it. And if not, you can book travel packages with one of the hotels or just take a DIY approach to your accommodation.

Beyond the music, there’s plenty to do, see, and taste. Last year fans could join Peter Anspach for a run and a cacao ceremony. Cotter Ellis hosted a fun beach volleyball tournament. There are yoga classes, group meditations, theme nights, and more.
You can’t go to Mexico and not indulge in the food and drink. Viva el Gonzo has a great selection of Mexican cuisine (hello, shrimp tacos at set break!) as well as a wide variety of beverages, including tequila and the famous Mexican beers along with solid NA options.
