We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt thanks to everyone who has tried out the new platform, and for your patience and understanding during this transition.  If you met us on lot you know our ultimate goal. Yes, scoring Sphere tickets are must..Cash or Trade for your Extra!… at the same time we are working on building a scalable infrastructure capable of taking on the multi-billion-dollar predatory secondary market—one that can support millions of events across the world. :rocket:  With that, we would love to keep you update you on the roadmap.

Adding an Image to a Post

Trust and transparency are key to our community. We are bringing back option to include images, such as receipts, to your posts. In the future, we are planning to scan the contents of the image so that we can guarantee the listing price matches the price on the receipt.

Miracle Ticket Functionality

CashorTrade is gearing up to bring back and enhance our Miracle Ticket giveaway feature—soon allowing fans to donate to each other and to an artist's charity—still making COT the only resale platform dedicated to face-value giving while supporting great causes.

"In Search Of" Posts (ISO), are Now Alerts!

This was a post type on the legacy platform for when people were looking for tickets. Yet, this created a lot of noise on the app pushing down 'for sale' posts, and is more efficiently managed when creating an alert. Please navigate to the performer's page, select the date, and create an alert for the event you are searching for. You will be notified when posted. Eventually we will have a view where you can see all those who have created an alert and contact them giving similar, but better, functionality of the old ISO type posts.

While the mobile app is being retired and will no longer work, you can still access the legacy site on the web at https://legacy.cashortrade.org in order to complete any transactions you have in progress. All new posts will be created on the Beta site.

Yes, you will create all posts on the new app.

The new app will be your source for buying tickets moving forward. Only transactions which are currently in process (ex: Waiting to receive tickets or review the other user) will be finished on the Legacy site.

Yes, all transactions which completed on the Legacy site will pay out on time as expected.

Yes! Your reviews and rating have been migrated to the new app.

The CashorTrade “Trades” feature is still live, active and functional on the 3.0 website located at legacy.cashortrade.org within the browser. We are directing fans there until the 4.0 Trades are released on the new app.

While we recognize that the “ISO” has been a staple in the music community for quite some time, we thought it would be better to focus on Alerts and quiet down the noise of ISO posts. 

So now if you are looking for tickets to a specific event, simply set an Alert and you’ll be notified every time a matching post appears. You can even be specific about the type of tickets you want, down to specifying Aisle Seats, ADA, or other features.

Because of the improvements we have made to CashorTrade under the hood, it wasn’t feasible to move all of the existing posts to the new version. For example, we no longer allow posts which contain tickets for multiple events, so those have not been migrated. While we recognize that this is an inconvenience for now, we promise the benefits of the new version will be worth it!

Nope! Your benefits remain the same. If for some reason you’re not seeing the Gold benefits in the new app, please open a ticket with our Support Team.

You will need to create your alerts again in the new app, but we think you’re really going to dig how it works now. Simple search for an event you’d like to attend and click the “Alert” toggle on the event’s page to enable push notifications. That’s it!

When we looked at the types of questions CashorTrade buyers ask sellers before committing to a sale, more than 90% of the time the question was some variation of “Are you willing to split these?” 

Now, when you post tickets for sale, you can specify that you’re willing to split them. This will save the buyer and seller time getting to a successful sale. Once part of the post is sold, it will automatically update to reflect the remaining tickets available. Pretty cool, right?

When you login to the new CashorTrade, you will notice your personal information, payment methods, and reviews have been migrated from CashorTrade Legacy. Over time, we will be migrating additional data including transaction history and friends.

No we will migrate all data from the old app into the new one.

We’ve created an amazing experience in our apps for iOS and Android, including push notifications. Most of our users find that this is a way more efficient way to receive updates about tickets they are seeking or transactions that are in progress. We may restore SMS at some point in the future. Submit feedback to let us know if this is a feature you’d like to see return!
