Joshua Tree Music Festival (JTMF) continues to grow with intention. The independently
produced, community-centered gathering returns to the Mojave Desert May 14–17, 2026,
celebrating its 24th Spring edition and 44th festival as a living experiment in music,
connection, and collective well-being.
Founded in 2003, JTMF has quietly become one of California’s longest-running boutique festivals
by staying small, human-scaled, and deeply inclusive. More than a music event, the festival
functions as a four-day social wellness retreat, designed to help people reconnect… with
themselves, with each other, and with the natural world.
The 2026 lineup reflects that ethos, featuring an eclectic, genre-spanning roster including
Thumpasaurus, Ruby Ibarra, Free Creatures, DJ Lady D, Steve Poltz, Afrobeta, and many
more. Artists chosen not for hype, but for heart, originality, and their ability to bring people together.
