moe.down is back!
This year, we’re celebrating the return of moe.down. It’s been 6 years since moe. hosted their historic festival in the Eastern US. moe.down began 26 years ago in 2000, featuring acts like Les Claypool Brigade, David Grisman Quintet, The Slip, and Ani DiFranco.
Traditionally, the festival was held at Snow Ridge Ski Area in Turin, NY, in the Upstate New York region that moe. knows as home. The location stayed at Snow Ridge for almost two decades. Eventually, the location moved to Gelston Castle Estate in Mohawk, NY, before returning to Turin, NY from 2016 – 2019, when the festival was last held.Â
Over the years, major headliners have shared the stages with moe. like the late, great Bobby Weir, Mike Gordon, The Roots, CAKE, The Wailers, The Levon Helm Band, The Derek Trucks Band, Jazz Mandolin Project, They Might Be Giants, Umphrey’s McGee, Grace Potter, and so many more.Â
In 2026, the festival will be held at The West End Fairgrounds in Gilbert, PA, on July 16 – 18.Â
