Phish

Phish

Phish is an American rock band formed in 1983 at the University of Vermont. The lineup—Trey Anastasio (guitar, vocals), Mike Gordon (bass, vocals), Jon Fishman (drums, vocals), and Page McConnell (keyboards, vocals)—has remained consistent since 1985. Known for their improvisational style, eclectic influences, and dedicated fanbase, Phish blends rock, jazz, funk, bluegrass, and psychedelia into dynamic live performances.

Often compared to the Grateful Dead for their jam band ethos, Phish is renowned for their elaborate setlists, musical spontaneity, and a culture of fan participation. They have built a loyal following through extensive touring, unique concert experiences, and events like their self-hosted festivals. Notable albums include Junta (1989), A Picture of Nectar (1992), and Billy Breathes (1996). Despite disbanding temporarily in 2004, Phish reunited in 2009 and continues to tour, selling out arenas and festivals worldwide.

Beyond music, Phish fosters a strong community, encouraging charitable efforts through the WaterWheel Foundation. Their immersive live shows, improvisation, and ever-changing setlists make them one of the most influential jam bands in history, with a legacy that continues to inspire new generations of musicians and fans.

CashorTrade partnered with Phish for a ticket drop to their annual Labor Day weekend shows in Commerce City, CO at Dick’s Sporting Goods Arena to keep tickets in the hands of real fans for face value.
