Trust Level & Payout Timing

Build Trust, Get Accelerated Pay Out

At CashorTrade, most sellers get paid before the event even happens – something you won’t find on other ticket marketplaces. Like any secure marketplace, there are a few guardrails in place to protect both buyers and sellers.

Active Transaction Credit Limit
Your Active Transaction Credit Limit (ATCL) is how much value you can have in “early payout” at once. As you successfully complete trades, your ATCL climbs. All payouts for tickets sold on CashorTrade are processed 3-5 business days after the buyer has marked the tickets as received, as long as the payout is below the seller’s Active Transaction Credit Limit (ATCL).
$0 LimitUntil a valid credit/debit card and PayPal account are added to your CashorTrade profile
Payout up to $500After a valid credit card and PayPal account have been added to your CashorTrade profile
Payout up to $1,000Available after completing 3 successful sales and being on the platform for over 6 months
Payout up to $2,000Available after completing 10 successful sales and being on the platform for over 1 year
All payouts for Travel Packages and high-risk events are paid out 3-5 business days after the event has ended.
Entry-Level $0 Limit:

Payouts are processed when you have a valid credit/debit card and PayPal account added to your CashorTrade account.

Payout BELOW ATCL:

Payout will be processed 3-5 business days after the buyer has marked the tickets as received.

Payout ABOVE ATCL:

Payout will be processed 3-5 business days after the event has ended

See exactly where your money is

From the moment your buyer pays until funds hit your PayPal, every step is clearly labeled so you always know what’s happening.

1
PENDING — Payment secured in escrow
1–3 days while payment settles

When your buyer pays, their money goes straight into secure escrow. The status shows as Pending while the payment clears with the processor.

2
INITIATED — Payout on the way to PayPal
On the move after buyer confirms tickets

Once the payment settles and your buyer marks the tickets as received, your payout is Initiated and begins transferring to your PayPal account.

3
SUCCESSFUL — Funds in your PayPal
Cleared & ready to spend

When the deposit lands, the status changes to Successful. That means the payout has fully cleared to your PayPal and escrow is complete.

4
RETURNED / FAILED — Fix PayPal & retry
Action needed on your PayPal

If your PayPal is limited, inactive, or restricted, your payout may show as Returned or Failed. Update your PayPal settings and the payout will re-attempt automatically.

Protected, even if someone forgets a step

Life happens. If a buyer forgets to update a status or you’re selling a complex travel package, Trader’s Protection keeps both sides safe.

Standard Events

Auto-payout after the event

If the buyer forgets to mark tickets as received, your payout automatically initiates 3 business days after the event as long as there are no open disputes. You still get paid, and the buyer still stays covered by escrow timelines.

VIP & Travel

Travel, hotel & destination packages

For hotel, VIP, travel, or destination festival packages, payouts begin 3 business days after check-out to protect both sides. This gives time to confirm that all parts of the package were delivered as promised.
